Statement

Humorous juxtapositions and scenes that show us humans taking things too seriously are two of my favorite topics. Finding and capturing these pictures is only part of the joy. Showing them to others who appreciate them is equally rewarding. I feel fortunate to have the skill and the vision to create something that others enjoy too.

Bio

Born in Southeastern Connecticut in 1950 I took up photography when I was 16 years old. I studied photography at university level and went on to run the photo department for a non-profit in Colorado in the mid 70’s. After that my work went more towards the video and film realm with photography taking a back seat. In the 80’s I formed a full service production company in Southern California, and gained a lot of experience in the many skills involved in video production. During that time I continued to take pictures which were primarily used for my productions. Only recently have I felt the need to show my work and have found that my pictures have a wide appeal, which is very encouraging for me.
